Lockership

Parcel lockers, labels and returns. All inside Shopify.

Your buyer picks a locker at checkout. You print every label in one go. Tracking appears in Shopify on its own, and returns come in through a page on your store.

The locker picker after payment works on every Shopify plan

A block on the thank-you and order status pages. No special plan, no checkout changes: buyers who chose locker delivery pick the exact locker in a few taps.

  • Plus
  • Nearest lockers first

Sorted by distance from the delivery address, with search by street, city or locker name.

  • In the buyer’s language

English, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian, Finnish and German, and you can edit every word.

  • Saved straight to the order

The label is made for the chosen locker; you never copy an address by hand.

  • Can be changed later

From the order status page, until you create the label.

  • Built for phones

Big tap targets and a short list. Most buyers pick on their phone right after paying.

  1. 1

    The buyer chooses a locker

The nearest lockers show up as delivery options in checkout, with your price for each carrier and country. If your Shopify plan doesn’t allow that, the buyer picks the locker on the thank-you page instead.

  2. 2

You print every label at once

Tick the orders, choose a box size, press Create. LP Express, Omniva, DPD and Venipak labels come out in one PDF, 10×15 or A4.

  3. 3

    Tracking updates itself

Carrier scans go back to the Shopify order every 12 hours, or when you press Sync. The buyer sees where the parcel is without writing to you.

  4. 4

Returns have a clear next step

Buyers ask for a refund or another size on your store. You see what comes next: approve, wait for the parcel, mark it received, refund.

Fewer “where is my parcel?” emails

When the buyer picks the locker and sees real tracking, there is much less left to ask you.

A shorter packing day

Create labels for the whole batch, book the courier for a time slot and print the day’s manifest from the same list. Packing slips and a pick list come with it.

  • Label printer (10×15) or office printer (A4)
  • Cash on delivery filled in for unpaid orders
  • Several warehouses, each with its own sender address
  • Venipak courier booked once a day, never twice

Returns your buyers start themselves

You get a returns page on your store. The buyer finds the order, picks the items and a reason, and asks for a refund, store credit or another size. Every request shows on the Shopify order too.

  • Exchanges show the sizes in stock and settle the price difference
  • Send back with a label, an SMS code or the buyer’s own way
  • Excel, CSV and PDF exports for your accountant

Questions we get

Do I need my own contract with the carriers?
Yes. Labels are made through your own LP Express, Omniva, DPD or Venipak business account, so your prices and invoices stay with the carrier. You enter each login once in Settings → Carriers. See how to connect carriers.
Which Shopify plan do I need?
Any plan. Labels, tracking, returns and the locker picker after payment work on Basic, Shopify, Advanced and Plus. Only lockers inside checkout need carrier-calculated shipping: Advanced and Plus include it, Grow gets it with yearly billing or as a paid add-on. See parcel lockers.
Can buyers change the locker later?
Yes, on the order status page (the link in their order email), until you create the label. After that the choice is locked so the parcel and the order match. You can also change it yourself from the order in Lockership. See the picker guide.
Where do returned parcels go?
To the sender address printed on the original label. That includes Omniva’s automatic return codes, which go straight back to the sender. If your courier collects from another address, Lockership warns you so you can put the right return address on the labels.
Does it work on my phone and in the Shopify mobile app?
Yes. Every screen is made for a phone: creating labels, booking the courier, changing a locker and handling returns. Nothing hides under Shopify’s own bottom bar.
